from my 'random sketches' sketchbook. I picked two faces from a magazine for this one and quite like how the page turned out. I was really tired yesterday and didn't sketch at all so I brought a magazine to bed and drew this this morning before getting up!
This is the reason why my good intentions came to a halt the other day - I got yet another migraine. So I put this sketch in too, of the blister pack. Migraines don't just affect me for the two or three days I get them but it takes a few days afterwards too to start feeling normal again and always interrupts the flow of creativity.
A quick sketch of some sweet peas. I had thought of doing just a pencil sketch and only having the colour samples to indicate the colour but I couldn't resist colouring them too.
My obsession with red and orange leaves has come back with a vengeance! A quick sketch in my small watercolour Moleskine. More of these to come!

These are gorgeous, they really do inspire me!
Wonderful sketches, Felicity! Those sweet peas look so soft and delicate...beautifully done!
Poor you on the migraine. I can identify to some degree as mine can last for up to two days and it takes another day before I recover fully. I get a fuzzy head and can't think straight. I had one a few days ago too. :(
Wow! These are all beautiful, as always, Felicity! I remember reading that you got migraines--I'm so sorry--that sounds awful. So many creative people get them, I've learned. Hope you're feeling better now! Your art is wonderful!
Such a sensitive drawing of that woman, Felicity. Beautiful. I find sweetpeas tricky yet you have captured them perfectly.
Even the blister pack is beautiful but I'm sorry to hear you needed it again.
I love your eye for the reds in leaves.
Thanks NoviceArtist, I think that is the most we can do when we share our art, so that's a lovely compliment!
Thanks Serena. I'm sure you know all about them! I do normally get them for 2 days, thank goodness, and sometimes they disappear and I feel fine straight away. You just never know, do you?! Sorry, to hear about yours. I wish more than anything someone would find a cure for these terrible things and put an end to them.
Thanks Suzanne!
Thanks Robyn - I'm definitely going to indulge with the red leaves this year!
